The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking qualified contractors to replace failing modular air‑cooled chillers in Building 501 of the Oakwood (CHFS) facility in Somerset, KY. The scope includes removal of nine existing units, installation of two new chillers, reuse of existing electrical gear with new fuses and conductors, duct modifications to extend condenser airflow, and new piping with heat‑trace from the mechanical room to the chillers. Bids must be submitted electronically via the state’s e‑procurement system; hard‑copy submissions are not accepted. A site visit is scheduled for contractors who wish to view the location.
