The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure a PAR Excellence Weight-Based Inventory Management system (WBIMS) software, hardware, installation, and support services on a sole-source basis. The system will be used to manage medical and surgical supplies at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw, Michigan, and its Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). The system must be interoperable with the existing GIP software system. The contractor will provide a free-standing, weight-based inventory management system, including all necessary bins, scales, accessories, parts, labor, hardware, and software. The system will also provide data mining capabilities, including current stock levels, recommended order points, and average usage levels per item. The contractor will install the system within 365 days of contract award and provide support for 12 months after successful completion of installation.
