Description

The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System and VA Kent Imaging & Infusion Center are seeking market research responses from qualified vendors to supply unit‑dose, low‑energy radiopharmaceuticals (non‑FDG F‑18 agents) for routine and emergent nuclear‑medicine imaging. The contractor must hold current NRC (or Agreement‑State) licenses, compound and calibrate all doses under a certified Nuclear Pharmacist following USP <797>/<825>, and deliver emergency orders within 120 minutes to two Ohio sites. The scope includes a detailed list of approximately 30 radiopharmaceutical products with annual quantity estimates, strict labeling and quality‑control requirements, and a one‑year base period with four optional one‑year extensions. • Supply unit‑dose radiopharmaceuticals (e.g., 99mTc Sestamibi, I‑123 capsules, 111In Pentreotide) across ~30 product lines with annual volume ranging from a few doses to several thousand. • Ensure NRC‑licensed handling, pharmacist‑supervised compounding, USP‑compliant QC, and 120‑minute emergency delivery to Cleveland (Hot Lab B‑C432) and Kent (Hot Lab B109). • Provide documentation of manufacturer‑authorized distribution, licensing, and ability to meet all listed items; include size‑status (small business, SDVOSB, etc.) and SAM UEI.

Budget estimate

$750,000 – $1,500,000

No contract value is disclosed. Based on typical unit‑dose radiopharmaceutical pricing (approximately $20‑$40 per dose) and the listed annual quantities (≈5,000 + doses of high‑volume items plus several hundred of lower‑volume items), the yearly spend is roughly $150,000‑$300,000. With a potential five‑year performance period (base year plus four options), total contract value could range from $750,000 to $1.5 million, depending on actual usage, option exercise, and price variations.
