Wayne State University is seeking a qualified vendor to supply, deliver, un‑crate, assemble, and install new classroom and lounge furniture for the Old Main basement classrooms and the Science Hall level‑01 lounges. The contract requires full “turn‑key” delivery, including provision of a dumpster for waste removal, compliance with the university’s Buy‑American policy, and a 10‑year manufacturer warranty. Pricing must be firm for twelve months, and the vendor must adhere to WSU prevailing wage rates, safety regulations, and smoke‑free campus policies.
• Supply all specified furniture items (chairs, stools, tables, sofas, lounge chairs, power hubs) with finishes to be approved by the Design Consultant.
• Deliver and install between 7:30 am – 4:00 pm on scheduled days, coordinating elevators, floor‑load limits, and parking fees.
• Provide a “Quick‑Ship Alternative” pricing schedule for items that can be expedited.
• Meet the mid‑August 2026 start‑up window, completing all installation, waste removal, and punch‑list work by mid‑August.
• Submit required certifications, insurance certificates, and wage‑rate compliance documentation as part of the proposal.
