Remanufacture of B-52s Primary/Secondary Heat Exchangers

The United States Air Force is seeking a contractor to remanufacture B-52 Primary/Secondary Heat Exchangers. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, facilities, equipment, and materials to accomplish the remanufacture. The work includes disassembly, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, re-assembly, testing, and finishing actions to return the item to a like-new condition. • The contract is a firm fixed price requirements type contract with a 5-year duration, consisting of a 3-year basic and one 2-year option. • The heat exchangers are made of aluminum alloy and various other metals. • The item function is to cool the system bleed air before it enters the air cycle machine. • The contract will require the contractor to adhere to the solicitation requirements and all attachments.
