The VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System is seeking a small‑business, OEM‑authorized contractor to perform one‑time heater exchange repair, which includes correcting and rebuilding 11 shell‑and‑tube heat exchangers and installing several isolation and hot‑water valves. Work must be completed within 90 days of award, adhering to VA‑specified safety, testing, and documentation requirements. The contract is set‑aside for small businesses and follows standard FAR and VAAR clauses, including Buy‑American and DEI provisions.
• Rebuild and clean shell‑and‑tube heat exchangers (remove heads, inspect/clean tubes, re‑assemble, pressure test).
• Install new isolation, gate, and butterfly valves (total of six valves) with all required hardware and testing.
• Provide all labor, tools, materials, transportation, and ensure OEM‑qualified parts; VA staff handle system drain/fill and insulation.
