Description
The Air Force Lifecycle Management Center is conducting market research to determine if there are contractors capable of fulfilling the requirement for a new Layer 1 physical switching fabric. The switching fabric must support a minimum of 320 ports and have deterministic latency of less than 5 nanoseconds. The solution must also include proprietary automation software with a 'Snap-N-Restore' capability. The product must be certified for placement in a Secret facility.
• Chassis and Port Density: A modular Layer 1 chassis that supports a minimum of 320 ports and 64 ports in a single managed fabric.
• Deterministic Latency: The switching fabric must provide sub-5-nanosecond deterministic latency across all ports and connections.
• Automation Software: The solution must include proprietary automation software with a 'Snap-N-Restore' capability.
• Secure Facility Compliance: The product must be certified for placement in a Secret facility.
• Maintenance: On-site maintenance is not required.
