Product must also be certified underANSI/NSF standard 60- Water Treatment Chemicals. Without proof ofsuch current certification accompanying the bid proposal the proposalwill be disqualified.MANUFACTURE & PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:The product must be manufactured domestically using Aluminum Trihydroxide(ATH) or an equivalent refined aluminum source and sulfuricacid and contain a minimum of 8.3% alumina (Al 2 O 3 . The pH of theliquid product shall be 2.1−2.5 and will not contain any free acid. Theliquid product must also comply with the latest AWWA B403 standards.AWARD:Award will be made to the responsible low bidder who meets all of thespecifications. The Town of Queensbury reserves the right to reject anyor all bids whichever may serve the best interest of the Town.CONTRACT UNIT OF MEASURE AND PERIOD:Prices should be per net ton, dry basis delivered to the water treatmentplant, lead-time at least 96 hours.The bid price shall be firm for a one-year period. The contract shall beextended for a maximum of two additional one-year periods subject tomutual agreement of the town and the supplier.Other:The vendor shall provide training for the treatment staff in the handling,proper usage, and application of the product. The vendor will also providesemi- annual jar test optimization services. A designated sales representativemust be able to arrive at the water treatment plant within 4hours if needed.
