Description
This project is funded by the New York State Department of Transportation Bridge NY funding program - PIN 0762.36: Barton Avenue Culvert. All phases of the project must conform to NYSDOT requirements for project reports, design specifications, construction and NYSDOTconcurrence; including all requirements of the NYSDOT Local Projects Manual (LPM).
The use of NYS registered M/WBE firms as primary or sub-contractors is required with an overall combined EEO goal of 26% (13% MBE / 13% WBE) and NYS registered SDVOB with an overall goal of 6%.
The proposed mitigation project will address localized flooding from moderate to high intensity rain events. The selected consultant will be tasked with developing engineered plans that include complete removal and replacement of the existing culvert system, removal and installation of associated drainage, roadway restoration, and installation of new curbs and pedestrian access.
