Green Streets Chapter of Complete Streets Design Guide

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) is seeking proposals from a qualified consulting firm to prepare an update to Montgomery County's Complete Streets Design Guide Chapter on Green Streets. The update will incorporate best practices for land-use types and/or street types. The total budget for this solicitation is $80,000.00. The selected firm will be responsible for tasks such as project management, meetings, precedent research and best practices, policy, guideline, and legal framework review, drafting the preliminary and final green street chapter, and presenting to the planning board. Key aspects of the job include: • Updating the Green Streets Chapter of the Complete Streets Design Guide • Incorporating best practices for land-use types and/or street types • Conducting precedent research and reviewing policies, guidelines, and legal frameworks • Drafting and finalizing the green street chapter • Presenting to the planning board
