Operational Funding for Brillante to Serve as CNM's Lab School for Early Childhood Education Programs

The State of New Mexico is seeking to make a sole source purchase for operational funding to support Brillante Early Learning Center as the lab school for Central New Mexico Community College's (CNM) Early Childhood Education programs. The funding will cover staffing, family engagement programming, and administrative overhead necessary to operate the lab school model. The services include practicum placements, observations, mentorship, family programs, and designated enrollment access for CNM student-parents. • The contract term is from 01/30/2026 to 07/31/2029. • The annual operational funding is $165,000. • The services are exclusive to Brillante under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and cannot be replicated by any other provider. • The partnership includes a joint advisory committee, coordinated communications, and alignment of Brillante program policies to support CNM's teaching and structured practicum pathways.
