Description
Paterson Public Schools is seeking a qualified, licensed contractor to provide comprehensive masonry services for its school facilities. The work includes installation, repair, and replacement of brick, block, stucco, sidewalks, and curbs, as well as any related masonry tasks that arise during the contract term. The contractor must hold a current New Jersey masonry contractor’s license, supply all labor, tools, equipment, and materials, obtain all required permits, and perform work during normal school hours unless otherwise approved. The contract will initially run for up to five consecutive years with options for one‑ or two‑year extensions, and includes a one‑year warranty on workmanship and materials.
• Licensed New Jersey masonry contractor required; all permits and materials must be new.
• Work performed during school hours (8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Mon‑Fri) with full site supervision, protection, and cleanup included in the price.
• Contract value exceeds $17,500; bid bond 10 % (capped at $20k), performance bond 100 % of award; insurance minimums specified; award expected within 60 days of bid opening.
