Description
The City of Baton Rouge, Parish of East Baton Rouge is seeking bids for the purchase of Convention High Density Stack Chairs and Hand Trucks. The chairs must meet specific requirements, including a steel frame with a 12-year warranty, a contoured inner back, and a waterfall-style seat with Probax foam. The chairs must also meet or exceed the standards set by the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (BIFMA). Bidders must provide a detailed description of their product, including specifications, pricing, and delivery information.
• The contract will be awarded to the bidder who submits the lowest responsive bid.
• The bidder must provide a certification that they are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• The bidder must also provide a plan for utilizing Small, Minority, and Women-owned businesses as subcontractors.
• The contract will be for a period of at least 60 days, and the prices bid shall remain in effect for this period.
• The City-Parish reserves the right to award items separately, grouped, or on an all-or-none basis, and to reject any or all bids.
