Description
The Turnpike Authority of Kentucky (TAK) is seeking a Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm to provide audit and consultation services. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting a financial statement audit of TAK, including the completion of Closing Package Forms and a reconciliation of the information reported on the forms to the audited financial statements. The firm will also provide consultation services related to bond refunding, new issues, and responses to the Finance and Administration Cabinet and State Auditor. The audit will be conducted in accordance with the provisions provided by the Auditor of Public Accounts, Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Some key requirements for the proposal include:
* The firm must be an active Certified Public Accounting firm in good standing
* The firm must have experience in auditing comparable bond issues and attendant investment schedules
* The firm must have experience with computerized bookkeeping systems and Commonwealth of Kentucky Closing Package Forms
* The firm must provide a detailed description of their audit approach and work plan
* The firm must provide resumes for all personnel proposed for assignment to the project
* The firm must provide a pricing schedule and cost proposal
