Description
The City of Austin is seeking a contractor to provide traffic safety flares for the Austin Police Department. The contract will be for an initial term of 24 months, with the option to extend for up to three additional 12-month periods. The contractor will be required to provide documentation, test results, and detailed specifications for the flares, as well as samples and safety data sheets. The City reserves the right to reject all bids or make a contract award between the lowest and most responsive bidder.
• The contractor must provide written certification regarding the manufacturer, material weight, and material ingredients of the flares.
• The contractor must provide test results, including burn time, and detailed specifications for the flares.
• The contractor must provide safety data sheets for the flares.
• The contractor must ship products on a delivery truck equipped with a lift gate and pallet jack.
• The City will inspect items upon delivery and may reject any damaged items.
• The contractor must deliver routine orders within 14 calendar days.
