2018 CDBG-MIT Highland Neighborhood

The City of Donalsonville is seeking bids for the construction of Flooding, Street, & Drainage System Improvements to serve Highland Neighborhood. The project includes grading roadside ditches, storm drainage piping, driveway piping, construction of outfall ditches, resurfacing, and lowering of existing water and gas main services. The project is expected to be completed within 194 consecutive calendar days. The city is looking for a licensed contractor to perform the work, and the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond. • The project is funded by a grant from the CDBG Disaster Recovery Funds. • The project is a Section 3 Covered Project under the HUD Act of 1968. • Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns are encouraged to apply. • The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
