The Town of Smyrna is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the roof and install new wood decking on the main shelter at Hilltop‑Rosenwald Park. The work includes removing the existing metal roof, installing new 26‑gauge multi‑ribbed metal panels with EPDM‑rubber‑washered hex‑head screws, adding felt paper, installing new pine decking and pressure‑treated fascia, and coordinating lighting removal/re‑installation. The project must be completed without disrupting the Juneteenth Celebration scheduled for June 20 2026. Bids are sealed, non‑withdrawable for 90 days, and must comply with federal grant clauses, insurance, bonding, and prevailing‑wage requirements.
• Remove existing roof and install new multi‑ribbed metal roofing system with EPDM‑rubber‑washered fasteners.
• Install new 2” × 6” pine decking and pressure‑treated fascia, sealed and metal‑wrapped.
• Coordinate work around park activities, especially the Juneteenth Celebration on June 20 2026; maintain a safe, clean work area.
