Description
The City of Bakersfield is seeking bids for a Trailer Mounted Diesel Air Compressor, 2025 or newer model year. The compressor should have a free-air delivery of 180 cfm, a rated operating air pressure of 100 pounds per square gauge, and two air discharge outlets. The trailer should have a 2-5/16” ball coupler, LED lighting, and meet all Lighting DOT requirements. The successful bidder will be required to provide a written warranty for at least one year and have broad form commercial general liability insurance with a minimum limit of $1,000,000.
• The compressor should be a new, unused 2025 or newer model year.
• The engine should be a four-cylinder diesel engine with a horsepower rating of 45hp or higher.
• The trailer should have a fuel tank capacity of at least 30 gallons.
• The successful bidder should have a full parts and service facility within 25 miles of the City of Bakersfield.
• The bidder should indicate the location of their nearest parts and service center and the number of people employed there.
