Description
The County of Cameron is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive solid‑waste collection, container rental, transport, and disposal services for all parks on South Padre Island for fiscal year 2026‑2027. The contract covers a variety of container sizes (2‑, 3‑, 4‑, 6‑, 8‑, and 30‑yard roll‑off), routine weekly dump pickups (1‑4 times per week), special weekend pickups, and ancillary services such as container inspection, hurricane securing, and account management. The award will be made to the lowest‑total‑price bidder, with a one‑year base term and up to two optional one‑year renewals.
• Provide roll‑off and smaller containers, deliver, rent, haul, and dispose of waste per the County’s schedule.
• Offer 24‑hour emergency response, detailed billing, and regular site visits/account management.
• Meet insurance, safety, and regulatory requirements; submit extensive documentation (certifications, conflict‑of‑interest, etc.).
• Pricing is captured in vendor‑filled tables; no total contract value is pre‑published.
• Bids due March 4 2026; award expected March 24 2026; service period April 11 2026 – April 10 2027.
