The US Navy is seeking a contractor to repair DRIER, AIR-GAS, DESIC equipment. The contractor will be responsible for performing all inspection requirements and ensuring that the repaired equipment meets the operational and functional requirements as represented by the Cage Code(s) and reference number(s) listed in the contract. The contractor must also comply with the mercury-free requirement and ensure that the material supplied under this contract contains no metallic mercury and is free from mercury contamination. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must restore the item to the VIRGINIA class configuration. • The contractor must perform all inspection and testing requirements as specified in the original manufacturer's specifications and drawings. • The contractor must keep records of all inspection work and make them available to the Government during the performance of the contract and for a period of 365 calendar days after final delivery of supplies. • The contractor must comply with the packaging, packing, and marking requirements as specified in the contract. • The contractor must provide a quote that includes the unit price, total price, and repair turnaround time (RTAT).
