FY26-Supp #1-National Network Cooperative Agreement to the National Railroad Passenger Corporation

The Federal Railroad Administration is making available to Amtrak $1,138,375,964 to cover Operating, Capital, and Debt Service, which will be used until January 31, 2029, or until expended. To receive these funds, Amtrak must complete the grant application and submit the required items electronically. The application must include a Statement of Work, a description of the projected operating and capital costs, a description of the capital projects to be funded, and a description of the status of efforts to improve Amtrak’s safety culture. • The grant is for the National Network Cooperative Agreement to the National Railroad Passenger Corporation. • The application must be submitted electronically by April 30, 2026. • The estimated funding for this opportunity is $1,138,375,964. • Amtrak is the only entity eligible to apply for this grant. • The grant will be used to cover Operating, Capital, and Debt Service for Amtrak.
