Description
The Illinois Department of Transportation is seeking a vendor for snow and ice removal services at the Quincy Annex located at 509 N 40th Street, Quincy, IL 62305. The services under this contract are "as needed" and do not guarantee services will be needed each month. The awarded vendor shall invoice monthly for services performed. The contract will have an initial term commencing upon execution and ending after 3 years (36 months).
• The vendor shall provide snow removal, snow plowing, and de-icing services to maintain safe passage for access to the building, parking areas, roadways, approaches, vehicular court, walkways, etc.
• The vendor shall use environmentally friendly de-icing products that will not damage concrete entrances, walkways, and steps.
• The vendor shall keep the plow raised slightly to avoid contact with the surface of the parking area to avoid any damage to the oil and chip parking lot.
• The vendor shall respond within two hours of notification of any additional services, day or night.
• The vendor shall have a working cell phone number which must be submitted to the District.
