Description
The American Consulate General Jeddah is seeking a contractor to construct sidewalks. The scope of work includes excavation, backfilling, supply and installation of structural engineering fill material, construction of concrete structures, and installation of interlock tiles and concrete curbs. The contractor must comply with the contract drawings and material specifications. The project includes multiple divisions, including earthwork, concrete work, and thermal and moisture protection.
• The contractor must supply and install approved crushed stone material at designated areas.
• The contractor must supply and install 50 mm dia. 1.7 M long, UPVC Drain pipe across the sidewalk.
• The contractor must construct a Contraction Joint (saw cut) across the sidewalk slab on grade every 3 meter center to center.
• The contractor must supply and install Detectable Warning Mat (Pad) as shown on the drawings.
• The contractor must comply with the OBO Standard specification Section 033000 - CAST In Place Concrete.
• The contractor must supply and install reinforced concrete with cement type (Sulphate Resistant Cement (SRC), cement content not less than 280 Kg/M3.
