Sewer Maintenance and Repair Services

The County of San Mateo is seeking a contractor to provide combined sewer maintenance, repair, and grease trap services. The contractor will be required to perform various tasks such as pumping out grease traps, cleaning sewer lines, and performing emergency plumbing work. The contractor must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in providing similar services and must be licensed to perform grease trap and septic tank pumping services. The contract will have a term of 5 years, with an aggregate fiscal obligation not to exceed $500,000. • The contractor will be responsible for maintaining a fully operational place of business within a 50-mile radius of the County's Department of Public Works' main office. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to perform the work. • The contractor must have a plan in place for achieving performance measures, including reporting and responsiveness. • The contractor must provide references from recent clients, preferably other public agencies. • The contractor must be authorized to dispose of waste materials in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
