Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Transportation Cabinet is seeking bids for the rental of a modified rotary drill with an operator to drill holes for the installation of railroad rails. The drill must be capable of drilling holes that are offset a minimum of 5 feet from the edge of the truck tire or track. The vendor must supply any site support labor, miscellaneous support equipment, and supplies. The contract will be awarded to the vendor with the lowest price and best response time.
• The vendor must provide a certified operator for the drill.
• The vendor must supply all necessary equipment and supplies for the drilling operation.
• The vendor must ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner.
• The vendor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
