RFP General Engineering Services on Behalf of The Department of Water

The City of Syracuse is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide general engineering services for the operation of the water system on behalf of the Department of Water. The selected consultant will be required to provide services on an as-needed basis, including regulatory and environmental activity, water system investigations, evaluations, improvements, and repairs. The contract will be for a period of 2 years with two 2-year renewal options. The City reserves the right to award one or more contracts. • The scope of services includes providing general engineering services necessary for the operation of the water system. • The consultant will be required to submit a fee proposal and task man-hour breakdown. • The City has established equity goals, including workforce diversity, local hiring, and M/WBE-SDVOB subcontracting. • Proposers must submit a draft subcontractor utilization plan and comply with the City's compliance requirements. • The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to negotiate any and all proposals without assigning any reason.
