Description
The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is seeking a hosting site for its 40th International Drug Enforcement Conference (IDEC) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The conference will take place from August 18-20, 2026, and will require a sleeping room block of 400, meeting rooms, and audio-visual services. The contractor must provide all services on the dates listed in the statement of work and must be aware of the security parameters that accompany a law enforcement conference.
• The contractor shall provide a sleeping room block of 400 between August 17-21, 2026.
• The contractor shall provide meeting rooms, including a plenary with seating for 600-800 attendees and 10 additional breakout meeting rooms.
• The contractor shall provide audio-visual services, including powered line with speakers and subwoofers, channel audio mixer, and wireless microphones.
• The contractor must employ people of integrity and trustworthiness and may be subject to background screening or a full background investigation.
