Description
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) intends to award a purchase order to GeoSep Services for apatite fission track and U-Pb analysis. The purpose of this analysis is to acquire data from geological samples collected from the Kuskokwim mountains region, Alaska. The USGS needs a contractor to perform AFT+U-Pb thermochronometry using conventional track counting techniques, established calibrated against community standards, 252Cf irradiation, and LA-ICP-MS methods. The contractor shall provide deliverables in a report in Excel spreadsheet format that includes raw spontaneous fission-track counts and other associated measurements.
