Description
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to conduct market research and identify qualified and interested sources that could provide Tactical Communications and Technical Investigative Comprehensive Solutions (TACTICS). The RFI is seeking information on vendors' capabilities to provide TACTICS equipment and/or services, including technical category 1 (equipment) and technical category 2 (services). The contract scope includes a wide range of TACTICS commodity equipment and services, such as radios, infrastructure, operation, and maintenance.
• Technical Category 1: Equipment, including radios, infrastructure, maritime/air, mobile command and control, satellite, and other tactical devices and capabilities
• Technical Category 2: Services, including radios, technical operations systems, operations and support services, engineering, and general services
• The TACTICS equipment/solutions/capabilities shall support DHS and the federal Government in the United States and foreign locations
• Vendors are required to select a subcategory or subcategories within a Technical Category to which their capability applies
