Description
The City of Lynchburg is seeking bids for tactical rifles and related accessories for the Lynchburg Police Department. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional years. The bid includes three lots: rifles and BCM parts, rifle accessories, and laser. The city reserves the right to award bids for requirements contracts based on the pricing of the initial term of the contract or any combination of initial and renewal terms.
• The bid must include all items listed on the bid form, with no substitutions or alternates allowed.
• The bid must be submitted on a copy of the invitation for bid, with all required documents completed and signed.
• The city reserves the right to cancel the advertisement for bids, reject any and all bids, waive any and all informalities, and disregard all conforming, nonconforming, conditional bids or counterproposals.
• The city may conduct a subsequent bidding process in the future for the sale of its current tactical rifles and related accessories.
• The trade-in/buy back of those items are not a part of this IFB process.
