C1DA--Comissioning of Replace Elevators -- Fort Wayne 610A4-26-201

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a commissioning agent to oversee the replacement of three elevators in Building 1 at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Fort Wayne Campus. The commissioning agent will be responsible for managing the commissioning process, reviewing designs, checking construction, confirming that everything works, and overseeing the warranty period. The agent will also be required to perform a constructability and coordination review of the 100% submission contract document drawings and specifications. The project includes the following systems to be commissioned: conveying equipment, electrical, lighting and lighting control systems, lightning protection system, communications, and integrated systems tests. Key tasks and deliverables include: • Developing and providing the owner's project requirements • Reviewing and updating the design narrative and design requirements • Providing a commissioning plan and schedule • Attending design review meetings and providing comment follow-up • Conducting site visits and providing site observation reports • Reviewing operations and maintenance manuals and contractor equipment startup checklists • Providing a final commissioning report
