Faraday Tent Enclosure Purchase

The NASA Johnson Space Center is seeking to purchase a Faraday Tent Enclosure. The enclosure must have specific characteristics, including being constructed with two layers of high-shielding Faraday CYBER Fabric, lab tested and certified to shield effectiveness standards MIL STD 188-125 and IEEE 2992006, and having a ventilation system. The scope of work includes the purchase of the enclosure, and the place of performance is the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. The period of performance is 8 weeks after receipt of order. • The Faraday Tent Enclosure must block and isolate WiFi, Bluetooth, cell signals, RFID, NFC, and radio signals from low MHz to 40GHz. • The enclosure must have stitched construction to reduce tears and adjustable Velcro tension straps for precise tent tightness and positioning. • The enclosure must have a patented magnetic door system with a magnetic door frame for a tight RF seal. • The enclosure must have a heavy-duty vinyl floor and an external outer layer of Black Sports Nylon for extra protection of the Faraday CYBER Fabric.
