FTZ Tree Trimming

The State of Hawaii is seeking a contractor to provide tree trimming services for the Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) warehouse. The contractor will be required to trim 14 coconut palms twice a year and 22 additional trees once a year. The services will include the removal of fruits, seed pods, and lower fronds, as well as trimming away 50% of the branches on the additional trees. The contractor must participate in the Hawaii Compliance Express program and submit a "Certificate of Vendor Compliance" before being awarded the contract. • The contractor must provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies, supervision, and other items necessary to complete the work. • The contractor must trim the trees in accordance with the specifications provided. • The contractor must remove all rubbish and debris from the site. • The contractor must comply with all applicable state and federal statutes.
