Description
The City of Valdosta is seeking bids for a 2025 or newer F-750 Regular Cab DRW Dump Truck. The truck should have a minimum 7.3 liter V-8 gasoline engine, Ford 6 speed TorqShift HD automatic or Allison 2500 series transmission, and a 5.25 axle ratio lockable rear axle. The dump body should be 12' long x 96" wide, with a 7" - 9.8# structural channel long-sills, and a floor made of 1/4" AR400 smooth steel. The truck should also have a full power steering and tilt, straight truck with 16.5” x 7.0” rear pads, and a trailer brake controller.
• The truck should be white to match the existing City of Valdosta fleet.
• The dump body should be painted gloss black and undercoated with LINE-X.
• The truck should have a fuel capacity of at least 65 gallons.
• The truck should have a warranty of at least 2 years bumper to bumper and 5 years motor/transmission.
• The truck should have a custom dump body purchased from Transport Equipment.
• The bidder should include a build sheet and literature for the item being bid.
