Renovation of Municipal Services Building

The City of Kingsland is soliciting proposals for the renovation of the Municipal Service Building, located at 531 North Lee Street, Kingsland, Georgia. The project involves demolition, architectural renovations, HVAC modifications, electrical work, plumbing, ADA improvements, interior finishes, exterior improvements, and all related work. The contractor will be required to procure and maintain insurance against claims for injuries or damages, and must comply with OSHA regulations and standards. The city reserves the right to reject any proposal deemed non-responsive, modify or waive terms and conditions, and negotiate contract terms with the successful proposer. • The project requires a single prime contract based on a stipulated price. • The contractor must possess a current Georgia General Contractor License and provide license information with their proposal. • A Bid Bond payable to the Owner in an amount not less than 5% of the Base Bid is required. • A Performance and Payment Bond will be required by the awarded contractor in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price before Notice to Proceed is issued. • The city intends to occupy the building upon substantial completion, and the contractor must coordinate to minimize disruptions to the city's operations.
