K--Type 6 Wildland Light Engine Upgrade for Kirtland

The United States Department of the Interior is seeking a contractor to upgrade two existing 2024 Chevy K5500 4x4 vehicles into Type 6 Wildland Light Engines for use in wildland fire suppression activities. The contractor will be responsible for installing fire-related equipment and supplies onto the provided vehicles. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract, and the government anticipates awarding a single contract. The period of performance will be approximately one year, with two option years. • The contractor will be required to provide a technical approach and capability plan, a management plan, and past performance questionnaires as part of their proposal. • The government will evaluate proposals based on technical approach and capability plan, management plan, past performance, and price. • The contractor will be required to report unique item identifiers for all items requiring item unique identification. • The contractor will be required to submit invoices electronically through the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) system.
