J065--Synaptive Modus X Robotic Exoscope Service

The Department of Veterans Affairs (Portland VA Medical Center) is conducting a Sources‑Sought (RF I) to identify qualified vendors capable of providing full‑service maintenance and clinical support for Synaptive’s Modus X robotic exoscope, BrightMatter Plan, BrightMatter Guide, and ImageDrive systems. The effort will be a firm‑fixed‑price contract covering: • 24 × 7 telephone technical support with 30‑minute response on business days (1 hour on holidays). • On‑site support within 24 hours when remote troubleshooting fails, limited to 8 contiguous hours per day and only during 7 am‑7 pm PST. • Two preventive‑maintenance visits and two software health‑check visits per contract year, scheduled at least two weeks in advance. • All labor, parts, travel, and routine software reliability updates included at no extra cost. • Performance metrics requiring ≥95 % system uptime; shortfalls trigger extensions to the warranty period. • Security clearance requirements for all contractor personnel (background check, fingerprints, e‑QIP). • Work performed on‑site at the Portland VA campus (3710 SW US Veterans Hospital Road, Portland, OR 97239). The VA seeks information on capabilities, business size status (small, SDVOSB, VOSB, etc.), and whether the respondent is the manufacturer or an authorized distributor/service provider.
