Description
The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform full surface milling and overlaying of approximately 20,000 square feet of the parking lot at Forest Lake #2 Public Water Access (PWA) in Washington County. The project includes reclaiming the existing 2” of bituminous and aggregate base to a 6” depth, grading and compacting reclaimed material, and paving with 2” of bituminous base and 1-1/2” bituminous wear per MN DOT typical surface section.
• The parking lot grades need to remain the same as before the project to meet ADA guidelines and handicap stall shall not exceed 2%.
• Topsoil preparation, seeding, and mulching of pavement edge are also included in this project.
• The project completion date is 06/19/2026.
• The bid must be submitted electronically through the Swift Portal.
• The bidder must be registered as either a bidder or a supplier to participate in the event.
