CONSTRUCTION SERVICES – GEORGIA AND DUNSMUIR VIADUCT JOINT REPAIRS – PHASE 1

The City of Vancouver is seeking a qualified contractor to execute Phase 1 joint repairs on the Georgia and Dunsmuir viaducts. Work includes full mobilization, traffic‑management planning, asbestos/ hazardous‑material abatement, removal and replacement of expansion joints and seals, concrete and asphalt restoration, and final demobilization and cleanup. Bidders must submit a lump‑sum price, detailed MS‑Project schedule, evidence of comparable bridge‑repair experience, and comply with extensive health‑safety, quality‑control, and sustainability requirements. • Mobilization, traffic‑control, and site‑access coordination for a major urban viaduct. • Hazardous‑material (asbestos) containment, abatement, and disposal per BC regulations. • Removal/replacement of multiple expansion‑joint types (GM5, G5, G7, G9, G11, G13) and associated concrete/asphalt restoration. • Mandatory submission of detailed experience, key‑person resumes, subcontractor lists, and compliance certifications (Fair‑Wage, Supplier Code of Conduct, insurance, bonding).
