Description
The State of Louisiana, Office of State Procurement, is soliciting bids for the purchase of a Mechanical Sweeper Truck for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD). The truck must meet the specifications outlined in Attachment B - DOTD Equipment Specification No. 256-850E, Rev. 3/4/2026. Bidders must submit their bids online via the LaGov vendor portal or in person at the Office of State Procurement. The bid opening date is April 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM CT.
• The Mechanical Sweeper Truck must be an International MV607 with Elgin Broom Bear mechanical sweeper unit or equal.
• Bidders must include a copy of a valid dealer's license issued under the provisions of La. R.S. 32:1254 with their bid.
• The contract term will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to extend for two additional 12-month periods at the same prices, terms, and conditions.
• The State of Louisiana reserves the right to terminate the contract for convenience or cause.
• Bidders must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including those related to civil rights, disabilities, and environmental protection.
