Government Publishing Office FM Modernization / Construction

The U.S Government Publishing Office (USGPO) is seeking a contractor to perform construction activities for the renovation of the Facilities Management (FM) portion of the Second Floor. The project involves the execution of construction activities necessary to meet the requirements outlined in the Architect-Engineer (AE) design specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project deadlines. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: FM HVAC/Office/Restroom Modernization, demolition, carpentry, thermal and moisture protection, openings, finishes, specialties, and fire suppression. Some key aspects of the project include: • The contractor will have limited use of the project site for construction operations. • The contractor must coordinate with the owner and other stakeholders to minimize conflicts and facilitate owner usage. • The contractor must maintain portions of the existing building and grounds in a weathertight condition throughout the construction period. • The contractor must comply with restrictions on construction operations, including on-site work hours and noise, vibration, dust, and odors.
