Furnish & Install (1) Light Pole at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport

The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the furnishing and installation of one new 30ft Galvanized Steel Light Pole with new LED lamp and Photo control switch at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. The project includes removal and disposal of the protective wood box enclosure, installation of the new light pole, and verification of street light energization during night-time hours. The contractor must possess a State of Hawaii Specialty Contractor C-13 license and provide a performance and payment bond for award. The project is subject to Chapter 104 requirements, and prevailing wages and certified payroll will apply. • The project location is at the corner of Lagoon Drive and Aolele Street. • The contractor must provide traffic control flag person and safety measures to ensure jobsite and employee safety due to high traffic location. • Work shall be performed Monday through Friday during normal work hours, except for State Holidays. • The contractor must field verify light pole voltage and base plate mounting dimension prior to ordering parts. • The project completion time is 180 calendar days from the issuance of the Purchase Order. • Liquidated damages of $100.00 per calendar day shall be assessed for each day the project is delayed beyond the 180-day completion time.
