WWTP Anaerobic Digester Cover Rehabilitation

The City of Richland is seeking a consultant to provide engineering design, bid-ready documents, and contract specifications for the replacement and rehabilitation of the City's existing anaerobic digesters with steel gas holder covers. The project includes reviewing the WWTP Solids Handling System Evaluation Project Report, designing and preparing technical specifications and bid-ready documents, updating operations and maintenance manuals, and assisting the City with any required permits. The City estimates the cost for this project to be between $400,000 and $500,000. • The consultant should have experience in evaluation of WWTP equipment and processes, regulatory requirements for WWTP in the State of Washington, and engineering design of wastewater treatment anaerobic digesters. • The consultant should provide a well-balanced team featuring breadth of expertise, appropriate mix of senior, mid-level, and junior staff, and organizational capacity to take on workload necessary for project success. • The consultant should provide a schedule for completing each task in the scope of work and proposed work plan, including deadlines and milestones meeting project deliverables and identifying potential risks that may impact the schedule. • The consultant should suggest improvements to the scope of work that would provide the City with a successful outcome of the project.
