Synopsis for Department of the Navy Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures (DoN LAIRCM) FY27-FY29 Production

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is seeking sources for the production of Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures (LAIRCM) hardware, engineering, and support equipment. The contract is anticipated to begin in March 2027 and will include the production and delivery of AN/AAQ-24 hardware and support equipment, as well as engineering and technical support. Interested businesses must demonstrate their ability to provide the required supplies and services, including manufacturing knowledge and experience with the AN/AAQ-24 system. • The contract will include the production of various hardware components, such as Control Indicator Unit Replacements (CIURs) and Infrared (IR) Missile Warning System (MWS) Sensors. • The contractor must have familiarity with the design and configuration of the AN/AAQ-24 system and associated platform ASE requirements. • The contractor must also have experience with handling and using classified information. • The Government may consider less-than-full-system sources sought responses, which may be able to provide individual technology advancements in any one part of the system.
