Description
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Eastern Ecological Science Center requires a contractor to remove and replace the existing shingled roofing systems on Building #1: Telework Building and Building #2: Quarters 111 at the Leetown Research Laboratory campus in Kearneysville, WV. The work includes full removal of existing roofs, installation of new shingles meeting historic preservation requirements, and replacement of flashing, gutters, and downspouts. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project within the 60-day period of performance.
• The contractor must begin work within 14 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed.
• The contractor must complete the work within 60 days from the date of receiving the notice to proceed.
• The contractor must provide a bid guarantee and payment and performance bonds.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to labor, safety, and environmental protection.
