JB,MDL SONET Ring Replacement

This Sources Sought Notice is for the replacement of the current System 15454 SONET Ring at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) in New Jersey. The project involves replacing the existing manufacturer-discontinued 15454 SONET equipment with an Optical Transport Network (OTN) equipped with (e/w) modules. The replacement system will serve eight locations across JB MDL. The contractor will be responsible for engineering, furnishing, installing, and testing the new system. The government is seeking qualified small business sources nationwide for this project. Key aspects of the project include: * Replacement of the existing SONET Ring with an OTN system * Installation of the new system at eight locations across JB MDL * Testing and validation of the new system * Compliance with all federal, state, and base safety guidelines and regulations * Coordination with government personnel for access to secure areas and escorts * Provision of training for government personnel on the new system * Warranty and maintenance of the new system for one year.
