Description
The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for the District 2 Pavement Preservation project. The contractor must furnish labor, equipment, and traffic control. The project is located in Duplin and Sampson counties. The availability date for this project is December 29, 2025, and the completion date is December 18, 2026.
• The project requires a bid bond or bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid.
• The successful bidder shall submit a fully executed execution of contract, non-collusion certification, debarment certification, and gift ban certification signature sheet within 14 calendar days after notice of award is received.
• A general contractor's license is required to submit a bid on any non-federal aid project where the bid is $30,000.00 or more.
• The contractor must be prequalified with the Department of Transportation prior to submitting a bid.
• The project is subject to the Buy America requirements, which require the use of domestically produced materials.
