The Las Vegas Valley Water District is seeking qualified contractors to design and construct a new water transmission pipeline in the Las Vegas Valley. The scope includes installing approximately 18,000 linear feet of 42‑inch‑diameter mortar‑lined, tape‑wrapped, and mortar‑coated steel pipe, laying fiber‑optic conduit and related communications infrastructure, constructing four 42‑inch butterfly valve vaults, installing a sacrificial‑anode cathodic protection system, and performing associated electrical and communications upgrades. Additional work involves removal of an existing 12‑inch gate valve and replacement with a 12‑inch butterfly valve at the 2860 Zone South Pumping Station, as well as various site‑specific stabilization, dust‑control, and environmental mitigation measures required by BLM easements and permits.
