Description
The University of South Carolina's Union Campus is soliciting quotes for the renovation of the Campus' Art Studio by providing and installing the HVAC unit and ductwork. The project has a construction cost range of $60,000 to $80,000 and is expected to be completed within 60 calendar days from the date of commencement. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the work. Key aspects of the project include:
• The contractor must have experience with similar projects and must comply with all federal and state work site safety requirements.
• The contractor will be responsible for removing all debris from the site and providing the necessary dumpsters.
• The contractor must maintain the job site in a safe manner at all times and provide reasonable and appropriate protection to prevent damage, injury, or loss to employees, students, and property.
• The contractor will be required to provide a one-year guarantee for the work executed under the contract.
• The contractor must comply with the University's supplemental general conditions, which include requirements for work areas, behavior, hazardous materials and safety compliance, landscape and tree protection, and temporary facilities.
