Texas Southern University (TSU) is seeking experienced building owners to enter a short‑term master lease for student housing. The lease will cover 350‑450 beds located within a five‑mile radius of the TSU campus, with a preferred “all‑students‑together” configuration. The initial lease term is two years, with the possibility of annual renewals. TSU requires a gross‑rent‑per‑unit structure that includes all utilities, maintenance, security, insurance, taxes, and common‑area services. The facility must meet all local, state, and federal building, fire, and accessibility codes, provide life‑safety equipment, off‑street parking, laundry, secure access, internet, cable TV, fitness or community spaces, and other student‑oriented amenities. Proposals must be submitted in paper and electronic (flash‑drive) format by 11:00 a.m. CT on 29 Oct 2026. Evaluation criteria include letter of interest, property‑management plan, organizational qualifications, cost, and references.
